Larkhall Athletic FC

Larkhall Athletic Football Club, founded in 1914, has forged an impressive path through the ranks of English football. Following its return to activity in 1951, the club quickly built a reputation for success, clinching the Somerset Junior Cup in 1962–63. Their move to the Somerset Senior League in the 1970s brought further accolades, including the League Cup in 1974–75 and the Somerset Senior Cup the following season. Larkhall Athletic became a founding member of the Western League Division One in 1976 and showcased their strength by becoming Division One champions in 1988–89 and again in 2008–09, leading to a well-deserved promotion to the Premier Division. Another Somerset Senior Cup triumph in 2003–04 further solidified their local dominance.

The club's upward trajectory continued into the 2010s. In the 2010–11 season, Larkhall Athletic proudly claimed the Western League Premier Division championship. Their consistent excellence culminated in a memorable 2013–14 season where they secured both the Premier Division title and the prestigious Les Phillips Cup, enabling their promotion to the Southern League Division One South & West. In their debut Southern League season, Larkhall Athletic achieved an impressive fifth-place finish, qualifying for the promotion play-offs and demonstrating their strong competitive spirit with a convincing 3–0 semi-final win.
