Phoenix Academy Tryouts - U16s and U18s

Wednesday, 15 April 2026 from 1pm - 3pm at State Basketball Centre!

Our Phoenix Academy Tryouts are held to select an intake of athletes to be a part of our Academy. 

 

Details:

• Time: 1pm - 3pm (Please arrive to be checked off before 12:30pm, with pick up at 3pm)

• Date: Wednesday, 15 April 2026

• Location: State Basketball Centre (291 George St, Wantirna South VIC 3152)

• Ages: 14 - 18

*Tryout for second intake of athletes into our Semester 1 prorgam, for those who missed tryouts in January*

 

What to Expect:

• Great Coaching: Experienced independent coaches who are passionate about the game. These coaches will assess and select based on attitude, behaviour, commitment and performance. 

• Skill Levels Welcome: Intermediate to Advanced players that are a part of a rep team or looking enhance their game at a high level are encouraged to join. Attendees are split into groups based on age and skill for parts of the day.
