Built on the belief that everyone deserves the chance to discover what they’re capable of, Your Shot gives everyday people the opportunity to step behind the decks, learn to DJ, perform and win a life-changing prizes, no experience necessary.

What began in Australia over in 2010 has grown into a global community built around music, confidence, connection and opportunity. Our participants come to us as beginners. Over five transformative weeks, they learn to DJ, find their sound, build friendships and become part of a community that genuinely wants to see them succeed. It all leads to one unforgettable moment: stepping onto a stage and performing their first-ever live DJ set.

But the magic of Your Shot has never just been about learning to DJ.

It’s watching someone do something they never thought they could. It’s the friendships formed in classrooms. It’s friends and family seeing someone they love perform for the first time. It’s confidence, self-expression and belonging, all brought together through music.

From Australia to the United States and beyond, Your Shot is creating opportunities for the next generation of DJs while reminding thousands of people that sometimes, all it takes is someone giving you a chance.
