Square is one of the world’s leading payments providers, with millions of customers worldwide. Its payment system is popular with Australian small businesses because of the unique payments hardware it provides with options for contactless payments, chip card payments as well as Apple Pay and Android Pay, combined with fast deposits, and powerful analytics and reporting tools.

The integration enables organisers of events of any size to sell tickets and take payments in person, in addition to existing online sales, seamlessly within the INTIX platform. Event organisers can now download the INTIX Box Office app and connect it with their Square account to start selling tickets out of their existing INTIX inventory.

INTIX is the first and only ticketing provider in Australia to develop an app which integrates directly with Square. INTIX Box Office removes the need to manually process payments which are not directly linked to your ticketing platform. Ticket sales flow from the INTIX Box Office app to Square Point of Sale, allowing event organisers to handle door sales more easily and accurately — while giving attendees a checkout experience they love.

The INTIX and Square collaboration enables event organisers to take control of door sales. All transactions are recorded in one place on INTIX, including cash, card and online sales.

INTIX Box Office can also integrate easily with other hardware including cash drawers and receipt printers, allowing organisers to print barcoded tickets at the box office, to be scanned upon entry to your event.
