Imbil Bull Bronc Barrels Buckle Series Round 1 17th January 2026 and is part of a buckle series that was established in 2019 as a major fundraising event for the Mary Valley State College P&C - it has now expanded into a 3 event series raising funds for many of our not for profit community organisations within the Mary Valley. 

This event raises funds specifically for the Mary Valley State College P&C and many of our local community organisations including the Imbil Community Sports Club & community swimming at Imbil Swimming Pool Inc.  The event is a National Rodeo Association Point Score Rodeo and is held on the Mary Valley State College Ovals, George Street, IMBIL.  Honky Tonk Rodeo Promotions are the contractors for the event.

The event has lots of activity for everyone with market stalls, free kids zone, Food vendors, Bar and Fireworks.  After the Rodeo starting at approximately 8.30pm Luke Geiger will be rocking the event stage until 11.30pm.  Join us for a great night full of fun and entertainment!

Event Camping is available on the southern end of the Mary Valley Show Grounds.  You will recieve a link in your confirmation email to use to book your camping ticket if you require it.  It is $50 per camp - 10m x 5m.  A camp includes 1 x vehicle & a maximum of 4 people.  There must be an adult (18+) camping and each person must have a rodeo ticket.  You must the car rego & people staying at the camp when booking.  You will be given and opportunity to amend this data about two weeks prior to the event.  If your name is not listed - no camping.

  • Explain Camping to me

    Spectator camping is on the southern end of the Mary Valley Show Grounds. Access via Edward Street - turn straight after the school.

    When you pay for your rodeo ticket in the confirmation email it will provide you with a link to the Camping Booking form & the password you need to access this booking.

    A campsite is worth $50/site (+processing fees).  A camp site is 10m x 5m appox and allows 1 x vehicle & up to 4 campers.  The cost covers camping & Sunday morning sausage sizzle between 6am & 8am.  Booking is required.  

    When booking your camp site you must enter - the vehicle registration & list the names of people camping at the site (up to a maximum of 4 people).  Two weeks out from the event you will have the ability to confirm your car rego & peoples names.  Only those vehicles and people listed will have access into the camping area.  There must be at least one adult (18+) at each campsite and all people listed camping must have rodeo tickets.

    There is event merchandise available for purchase at the ticket sales tent.  We have trucker caps and stubbie coolers.

  • What time does the band Start

    Luke Geiger is the band for the 2026 Imbil Bull Bronc Barrels Buckle Series Round 1 on the 17th January 2026.  The band starts playing immediately at the finish of the rodeo and fireworks.  Usually around 8.30pm.  They will rock the night away until 11.45pm.
