We’re excited to welcome you to our Christmas Community Matchday on Saturday 20th December – a festive day out for the whole family and a celebration of Risborough’s community spirit. Gates open at 12:30pm so you can enjoy an afternoon of Christmas fun before kick-off at 3:00pm.

Before the match, enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and a Christmas-themed menu from the clubhouse. Santa will be at the ground meeting the children and sending them on a candy cane hunt with a festive gift at the end. There’ll also be a gingerbread decorating station and a chance for kids to make their own Christmas Eve door card for Santa.

Around the ground you’ll find pin the nose on Rudolph, a lucky dip, and face painting – plenty to keep little ones entertained and in the Christmas spirit.

On the pitch, our junior teams and Comets pan-disability team will form a guard of honour and walk out as mascots before an exciting afternoon of football. At half-time, enjoy carol singing and a snowball toss game with prizes up for grabs.

After the final whistle, the bar and festivities will continue, so you can stay, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. This day is about more than football – it’s about coming together as a community to celebrate Christmas.

We’ll also be collecting for a food bank, supporting those who need it most at a challenging time of year. By joining us, you’ll enjoy a fantastic festive day out and help us make a positive difference locally.

We’d love to see as many Risborough residents as possible at the ground – bring friends, family and neighbours and help us celebrate Christmas together.

Parking: Free visitor parking is available at the ercol offices on the Princes Industrial Estate:

It’s a short walk from the ground. We strongly encourage spectators to park here, as on-site parking is very limited and reserved for players and staff.

Tickets & Entry

• Please have your e-ticket ready for scanning at the gate.
• Tickets are valid only for this event.
• Our online matchday programme is available via the official club website.
• RRFC Junior Members get FREE entry – just bring your membership card.

Please note: Tickets to the Christmas Community Matchday include access to the football match and all festive activities, stalls and entertainment. The Christmas event will go ahead even if the match is postponed or cancelled (e.g. due to weather or pitch conditions). If the match does not take place, no refunds will be issued, as tickets are for the overall Christmas event and not solely for the match.
